Customer Review: Works well, nice chrome, like reminder beeps

First, my favorite feature: Reminder beeps. Once microwaving completes it beeps to let you know. Then, if you do not go and get the food every few minutes it beeps again. It keeps doing that until you open the door (though maybe it stops eventually?). I find this very helpful because I get engrossed by the computer or caught up in a phone conversation and sometimes forget that I had something cooking in the oven.
One little complaint: My previous microwave would add a minute to the cooking time if there was no time on the dial and I hit Start. This Sanyo requires one first type it a time, hit Start, and then only the second hit of Start adds another minute. So one has to enter some time interval before hitting Start. Again, this is a minor complaint. Otherwise this unit works well and I recommend it.

Keep cooking time on the digital readout for the food inside the microwave and time another meal on the stove with the Kitchen Timer feature. Children won't be able to mistakenly turn the microwave on when you are away if you use the child lockout feature. A two color digital display is bright and easy to read.
